Subject: Temporary Suspension of SRP's Large Commercial Solar Electric Program
At this time, the number of applications received by SRP for large commercial solar electric installations has reached the 5 megawatt (MW) cap that was established for all installations through April 30, 2011. As a result, SRP is temporarily suspending this program.
SRP will honor applications at the previously advertised incentive level ($0.147/kWh) for those customers that have received an incentive reservation. SRP will continue to accept application packages for this program in the event of project cancellations. Should a customer with a reservation cancel their project, the available funding will be offered to the next customer in line with a complete application package.
Please note that a complete application package includes:
A signed copy of the completed application agreement;
A signed bill of sale;
A signed contract or letter of intent;
A copy of the company's W-9 form; and
A copy of the customer's most recent SRP bill.
SRP will reevaluate the incentive levels for our Fiscal Year 2012, which begins May 1, 2011, and will launch a new production based incentive program at that time. Any applications not funded under the previously advertised incentive level will be first in line for incentive reservations under the new program on May 1, 2011.
SRP is continuing to accept applications for its small commercial solar electric program at the $1 per watt interim incentive level.
