Chinese solar panel manufacturers are making plans to source components from Taiwan in order to get around US anti-dumping tariffs of at least 31 per cent announced by the department of commerce last week. Industry executives and analysts expect the largest Chinese solar power companies such as Suntech Power, Trina Solar and Yingli Green Energy to use components from Taiwan, Korea and other countries to maintain their position in the fast-growing US market.
